Canceling Your Mindmup Subscription
You can cancel your Mindmup subscription in just a couple of clicks. Canceling stops future payments, but make sure to do it at least 24 hours before your next billing date.
You’ll continue to have full access to Mindmup until the end of your current billing cycle. Canceling won’t cut off the service you’ve already paid for.
Any maps or documents stored in Mindmup or published to Mindmup Atlas will remain available until the billing cycle ends. After that, they’ll become view-only, so be sure to export anything you want to keep.
Subscriptions Paid by Credit Card
How to cancel a credit card subscription
To stop future recurring payments, follow these steps:
- Visit Account › Plan & billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- In the confirmation dialog, select reason and click Cancel subscription.
Once completed, you’ll see a confirmation message letting you know the subscription has been canceled.

Subscriptions Paid via PayPal
You can cancel PayPal subscriptions directly from your PayPal account:
- Log in to PayPal.
- Open Pre-approved Payments.
- Find Mindmup and cancel the pre-approved payment.
If you’re unable to cancel it there or need assistance, contact us at contact@mindmup.com.
Please note that PayPal payments are no longer supported directly through Mindmup, so subscriptions paid via PayPal must be canceled from PayPal itself.
Deleting Your Mindmup Account
If you’d like to permanently delete your account, you can do so directly from your profile settings.
Go to Profile and click Delete account.
When you delete your account:
- Any active subscription will be automatically canceled
- Your account will be closed immediately
- All maps, files, and associated data will be permanently removed
This action cannot be undone, so make sure to export any content you want to keep before deleting your account.
