Signing in to Mindmup
Mindmup subscriptions are linked to your email address. As long as you’re signed in with an email that has an active subscription, you’ll have access to all Mindmup features.
Signing in When Saving to Mindmup
To sign in, click the Sign In button in the top-right corner of the map editor. This opens a dialog with a few sign-in options.
Sign in with Google
If your email is a Google or Google Workspace address (including work or education domains), you can sign in instantly using Google. Just click Sign in with Google—no password required.
Sign in with a Password
If you’ve created a permanent password, you can use it to sign in directly. This avoids needing temporary passwords sent by email.
Get a One-Time Password by Email
If you prefer not to manage another password, Mindmup can email you a temporary one-time password.
- Enter your email address.
- Click Send Email.
- When the email arrives, copy the password.
- Paste it into the sign-in dialog and click Finish.
Each temporary password can be used only once, works only in the browser that requested it, and replaces any previously sent codes. Emails are sent immediately, so if you don’t see it within a few seconds, check your spam folder.
Using Mindmup with Google Drive
When using Mindmup for Google Drive, you’re already signed in through your Google account. Mindmup automatically uses the currently active Google account to authorize your subscription, so there’s no separate sign-in step.
You can see which account is active in the top-right corner of the map editor and switch accounts by clicking Change Account.
