Using stickers to add meaning to your mind maps
One of the biggest strengths of mind maps is their ability to show multiple dimensions of information in a single view. Visual thinkers often use color, layout, and connections to express relationships and structure.
You can now add another layer of meaning using hundreds of built-in icons. Stickers let you visually mark importance, relationships, or priority directly on your map using the Stickers sidebar.
Why use stickers instead of images?
Unlike embedded images, you can assign more than one sticker to a single node. Because stickers are bundled with Mindmup, they don’t significantly increase the size of your map.
This is especially useful on the Starter plan, where:
- Maps are private
- Maps do not expire
- You can edit up to 5 maps
Using stickers helps you get more value from your editable maps without increasing file size.
