Adjust node padding in Mindmup

You can now increase or decrease the space around text in nodes to create larger margins for emphasis or smaller margins to save space.

Change padding for a single node

To adjust padding on an individual node:

1. Click the node to open the quick menu.
2. Click the Paint icon.
3. Go to Shape › Padding.
4. Choose Small, Medium, Large, Extra large, or Custom.

This is useful when only a few nodes need extra space.

Change padding for the whole map

To update padding across the entire map:

1. Click the Customize theme icon in the top-left menu.
2. Go to Shape › Padding.
3. Choose Small, Medium, Large, Extra large, or Custom.

The change applies instantly to all nodes, making it easy to optimize the layout for wide screens or maps with dense content.
