Account Email Is Now Hidden in Mindmup
To better protect your privacy, Mindmup now hides your account email from the main app view.
Previously, your account email appeared in the top-right corner after logging in. While useful for identifying your account and accessing preferences, it made screenshots and screen sharing awkward—especially for online lectures, live streams, or academic publications.
How it works now
Your account email is hidden by default from the map editor and map listing screens. Instead, you’ll see a generic account info label in the top-right corner.
This makes it easier to:
- Share your screen during meetings or classes
- Take screenshots without exposing personal details
- Publish visuals without extra image editing
What’s still visible
Your account email is still shown on account management screens. It’s only hidden from the top-right menu in the map editor and map list.
