Overview
You can change your Mindmup account password from your profile settings. You will need to enter your current password and your new password before saving the change.
Change your password
- From the Home dashboard, click your profile avatar.
- Select Account › Profile.
- Enter your current password in the Enter current password box.
- Enter your new password in the Enter new password box.
- Click Change password.
Your new password must meet these requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
- One special character
Click Cancel if you decide not to change your password.
Example use cases
Changing your password can be helpful when:
- You have changed roles or responsibilities and want to update your account credentials.
- You use Mindmup for both personal and work projects and want to refresh the password for your account.
- You are reviewing your account settings and want to update your login details.

- Choose a password you can remember without making it obvious to others.
- Take a moment to review the entire form before saving your new password.
- Keep your new password available when you next need to sign in.
- Avoid making unnecessary changes if your current password is still working well for you.
