How to Find Nodes

Sep 11Features

Overview

Finding a specific node is useful when you are working with a large Mindmup map and need to locate information quickly. Instead of searching through the map manually, you can search for a node by part of its title.

Find a node

  1. Press Ctrl + F on Windows or Command + F on Mac to open Find node.
  2. Enter part of the node title you want to find.
  3. Select the matching result to locate the node in your map.

You do not need to enter the entire node title. Searching for part of the title can help you find a node even when you do not remember its exact wording.

Tips

  • Search for a distinctive part of the node title if you do not remember the complete wording.
  • Keep node titles clear and descriptive so they are easier to find later.
  • Use search instead of manually navigating through branches when working with a large map.
