Mindmup for Small Teams
Mindmup for Small Teams is designed for small groups who want to collaborate and share mind maps easily, without the complexity of enterprise account management.
This plan works well for small organizations or informal teams that want shared billing, individual accounts, and collaborative features—all managed directly inside Mindmup.
What you get with the Team plan
Subscribing to Mindmup Team removes size restrictions and enables collaborative editing and private sharing across your group. Each team member has their own username and password, while the subscription is managed under one account.
The Team plan is ideal if you don’t use a third-party identity system like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and want simple, built-in user management.
How Team compares to other plans
Team vs Personal
Compared to the Personal plan, Team allows multiple users to work under a single subscription.
With Team:
- Up to multiple users can have separate logins
- Each user can create private maps
- Maps can be shared individually or with the whole team
- Shared maps can be organized in team maps
- Administrators can restrict sharing outside the team
For small groups, Team is more cost-effective than buying multiple Personal subscriptions.
Team vs Organization
Compared to the Organization plan, Team does not require a third-party account system such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
With Team:
- Users are managed directly in Mindmup
- No external domain or identity setup is required
- Pricing is lower and better suited for small teams
This makes Team a simpler and more affordable option for groups that don’t need enterprise-level integration.
Why this matters
Previously, the only way to share a subscription across a small group was by adding multiple linked emails to a single Personal account. That approach gave everyone full control over the subscription, which wasn’t ideal.
With the Team plan, collaborators get access to advanced features without having administrative control over billing or account settings.
Pricing
Mindmup Team is billed monthly based on the number of seats:
- 5 seats: $36 per month
- 10 seats: $65 per month
- 20 seats: $120 per month
You can adjust the number of seats as your team grows.

To get started, select Team from the subscription type dropdown during signup or when upgrading your plan.
