Google Drive Realtime API Changes

Google will soon stop providing Realtime API capabilities for Google Drive files to third-party applications like Mindmup. Mindmup previously used this feature to save maps, but since July, users can store maps in a new format that will continue working after December 2018. Users who have maps saved to Google Drive will see notifications prompting them to convert their maps to this new format.

We’ve published a page for end users that explains the changes and any actions they may need to take. Read it here: Google Realtime Deprecation FAQ.

Domain administrators can share this page with their users to explain the upcoming changes. For privacy reasons, we do not track individual access to Mindmup via Google Drive organizational accounts, so we cannot notify users directly.
