Overview
You can permanently delete your Mindmup account from your Profile settings. The deletion process includes a confirmation step to make sure you intend to delete the account.
Before deleting your account
Deleting your account is permanent. All your maps and data will be permanently removed, any active subscription will be canceled, and you'll be removed from all teams. This action can't be undone.
Make sure you have exported or saved anything you want to keep before continuing.
Delete your account
- From the Home dashboard, click your profile avatar.
- Select Account > Profile.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box.
- Click Delete account.
Click Cancel if you decide not to continue with the deletion.
Common questions
What happens to my maps when I delete my account?
Deleting your account removes the maps and data associated with it. Make sure you export or save anything you want to keep before confirming the deletion.
Is deleting my account the same as canceling my subscription?
No. Cancel subscription stops future renewals while keeping your Mindmup account. Delete account permanently removes your account, maps, and data, and also cancels any active subscription.
Delete account is available under Profile, while Cancel subscription is available under Plan & billing. They are separate account actions.
