Overview
Your Mindmup account includes a Plan & billing section where you can manage your subscription and payment details. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing, update your payment card, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.
Your current plan is also displayed in your account. Mindmup identifies plans as Personal, Team, or Organization.
Manage your plan and billing
From the Home dashboard:
- Click your profile avatar.
- Select Account.
- Open Plan & billing.
Switch your plan
Use Switch plan when you want to change your billing option or move to a different plan. You can choose between:
- Pay monthly
- Pay yearly
When switching plans, downgrades take effect at your next renewal, while other plan changes take effect immediately. Any applicable billing adjustment is prorated.
Cancel your subscription
Use Cancel subscription when you no longer want your plan to renew.
To cancel your subscription:
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Choose the reason that best describes why you are canceling.
- Click Cancel subscription to confirm.
The available reasons are:
- Not using it enough
- Too expensive for my needs
- Missing key features
- Switching to a different tool
- Technical issues or performance problems
Select Nevermind if you decide not to continue with the cancellation.
If you cancel before your renewal date, your plan will not renew on the upcoming billing date. You keep access to your current plan until the current billing period ends.
If you cancel after your plan has already renewed, it will not renew again on the next billing cycle.
Update your payment card
Use Update card when you need to change the payment card associated with your account.
This is useful when your current card has changed, expired, or is no longer the card you want to use for your Mindmup subscription.
View your invoices
Each invoice shows the date, amount, status, and description.
Click an invoice to Download invoice or Downloadreceipt. This is useful when you need to review a past charge, confirm billing details, or keep a record of your subscription payments.
Common questions
What happens if I cancel before my renewal date?
If you cancel before your renewal date, your plan will not renew on the upcoming billing date. You will keep access to your current plan until the current billing period ends.
What happens if I cancel after my renewal date?
If you cancel after your plan has already renewed, the current billing cycle has already started. Your plan will not renew again on the next billing cycle.
What happens when I switch plans?
Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep full access to your current plan until the billing period ends. Other plan changes take effect immediately, with any applicable billing adjustment made on a prorated basis.
