Overview
The Members section lets you add people to your Mindmup account by email. You can invite multiple people at once, search existing members, view their name, email, and role, and check how many seats are currently in use.
Use Members when you need to add people to your account or organization. Managing which members belong to a specific team is handled separately under Teams.
Add members
From the Home dashboard:
- Click your profile avatar.
- Select Account.
- Open Members.
- Click Add members.
- Enter the email addresses you want to invite.
- Separate multiple email addresses with commas.
- Click Send invite.
Click Cancel if you decide not to send the invitations.
Search your members
Use Search members to find a specific person in your account or organization. This can be useful when you have several members and need to locate one quickly.
View member details
The Members page shows:
- Name
- Role
Each member also has a 3-dot menu with an option to copy their email address.
Check seat usage
The Members page shows how many seats are currently being used in your plan.
For example, it may show 1 out of 3 seats used.
Example use cases
Adding members can be useful when:
- You are bringing a new colleague into your Mindmup account.
- Several people need to be added at the same time.
- You need to check who is already part of your account before sending a new invitation.
- You want to review a member's role or copy their email address.
- You need to check current seat usage before adding more people.
Common questions
Does adding a member automatically add them to a team?
The feature breakdown treats account members and team membership as separate functions. Team membership is managed from Account › Teams › Manage members.
How many members can I add?
The Members page shows how many seats are currently being used in your plan, such as 1 out of 3 seats used.
