Overview
You can manage the payment card associated with your Mindmup subscription from Plan & billing. Use this section to update a card, choose a default card, or remove a saved card you no longer need.
Keeping your payment methods current makes it easier to manage your subscription when your card details change.
Update your payment method
- From the Home dashboard, click your profile avatar.
- Select Account.
- Open Plan & billing.
- Click Update card.
- Add your payment card details.
From the payment method settings, you can also manage your saved cards.
Set a default card
If you have more than one saved card, you can choose which card should be your default payment method.
Set your preferred card as the default when you want that card to be used for your subscription billing.
Delete a saved card
You can remove a saved card that you no longer want associated with your account.
Delete an old card when you have replaced it or no longer want to keep it among your saved payment methods.
When to update your payment method
Update your payment method when your current card details are no longer the ones you want to use for Mindmup.
For example, you may need to update your card after replacing an expired card, switching to another card, or changing which saved card you want to use.
Example use cases
Payment method settings can be useful when:
- Your current card has expired and you need to replace it.
- You have received a new card and want to update your billing details.
- You use more than one saved card and want to change the default.
- You no longer use a saved card and want to remove it.
Tips
- Check your saved cards regularly and remove ones you no longer use.
- Make sure your preferred card is set as the default when you have more than one saved card.
- Review your payment method before an upcoming billing date when your card details have changed.
