Overview
Deleting maps helps keep your workspace organized by removing maps you no longer need. When you delete a map, it is moved to the Trash instead of being permanently removed right away, giving you time to restore it if needed.
Maps remain in the Trash for 30 days before they are permanently deleted.
Move a map to the Trash
- Open the Home dashboard.
- Find the map you want to delete.
- Right-click the map and select Move to trash.
- Click Move to trash to confirm.
The map is moved to the Trash, where it will remain for 30 days unless it is restored.
Move a map to the Trash while it's open
- Click the Mindmup icon in the top-left menu.
- Click File › Move to trash.
- Click Move to trash to confirm.
Restore a map from the Trash
- Open the Home dashboard.
- Click Trash in the left sidebar.
- Find the map you want to restore.
- Right-click the map and select Restore.
The map is returned to its original location.
