Overview
Downloading a Mindmup file creates a copy of your map in Mindmup's own file format. This is useful when you want to keep a copy of a map outside your Mindmup workspace or save the map file for later use.
Unlike PDF, image, outline, and notes exports, a Mindmup file keeps the map in a format designed for use with Mindmup.
Download a Mindmup file
You can start from the Home dashboard or from an open map.
From the Home dashboard, click the Actions (three-dot) menu next to the map and select Export. If the map is already open, click the Mindmup icon in the top-left corner, then select File › Export.
- Select Mindmup file.
- The Mindmup file automatically downloads to your device.
