Overview
If you accidentally moved a Mindmup map to the trash, check the Trash section before assuming the map is gone.
Mindmup's Trash includes All maps, My maps, and Shared with me tabs. You can sort maps by Date trashed or Alphabetical and filter them by team or tag.
How to Find a Deleted Map
Open Trash
From the Mindmup Home dashboard, click Trash in the sidebar.
Use the tabs to narrow down where the deleted map was located:
- All maps shows all maps in the trash.
- My maps helps you find maps you owned.
- Shared with me helps you find maps that were shared with you.
Search by date or name
If you have many deleted maps, use the sorting options to make the map easier to find.
You can sort by Date trashed to find recently deleted maps or by Alphabetical to locate a map by name. You can also use the team and tag filters to narrow the list.
Check whether you moved the correct map to Trash
If you see the map in Trash, check its name and other available details before taking further action.
Restore the map
Once you find the map you're looking for, right-click the map and select Restore. The map will be returned to its original location.
Maps remain in Trash for 30 days before they are permanently deleted, so restore the map within that period if you want to recover it.
Example Use Cases
You deleted a map you were working on
Open Trash and use Date trashed to find the map among recently deleted maps.
You cannot remember the map name
